Surf Payroll has been discontinued
As of 1st January 2025, Surf Payroll has been discontinued, allowing Bright to focus all our efforts and resources into developing BrightPay into the best payroll solution on the market.
What does this mean for you?
You can still process payroll for 2024 using Surf Payroll, however you will not be able to process payroll in 2025. Access to Surf Payroll will continue until the 31st of January. After this date, you will no longer be able to access the system.
Your next steps
We recently released BrightPay's cloud version, meaning Surf Payroll users can now seamlessly migrate to BrightPay cloud for the 2025 tax year.
To make the migration as seamless as possible, please remember to download/export your payroll data such as payslips, tax deduction cards and payroll reports and journals, to prevent any risk of data loss.
